CBI seeks to address the ongoing crisis of biblical illiteracy.Designed for all people, we remove the apparent complexities and make Scripture understandable and applicable. Our classes and resources aim to deepen understanding of God’s Word and foster reverence for the biblical text.Our primary focus is not on degrees, titles, or credentials, but on spiritual formation. While we do offer certificates, they do not confer rank, authority, or superiority. We seek to build and equip believers to know and understand the Bible for themselves, rightly interpret God's Word, and faithfully apply it to daily life, relationships, ministry, and personal growth.Our Mission:

Dr. Edith T. Grimes-Brumskine is a Bible Teacher & Christian Educator, founder of Closet Teaching Ministry & Closet Bible Institute. She is a woman passionate about teaching God's Word and communicating practical biblical truths. As a lifetime student of the Bible, she enjoys studying and searching the Scriptures and sharing the treasures therein.Edith is committed to Christian education and ensuring that all people understand Scripture, apply it, and experience the joy, freedom, confidence, and peace that come only through God's Word!She acquired a Master's degree in Theological studies and a Doctorate in Biblical studies from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia.
